Great service, Great food, we come here once or twice a week. New manager is always friendly & welcoming. We love this place!!

Always wanted to try the legandary sandwich I first heard of on the Rosanne show. They were very good and definately something try just to say you did.

If you need loose meat this is where to go. I buried my touge hard into it. Loved the taste! That bit was for laughs. In reality it really is one of the best places to get a good classic fast food classic. The fella behind the counter was nice and helpful. Will definitely go back.

They have some of the best onion rings!!!

Prices are too high, for the quality of food!

The food is good. But the price is just a bit too high. Almost $11 for a combo meal is hard to justify with so many other options nearby.

One Sandwich was cold, cheese fries had hardly any cheese sauce. The kids meal fries were missing. Will try again after they've been back open awhile.

Yummy as usual. Brought home half a tenderloin and a pile of sweet potato fries.

It is a hit or miss place. Went there a few months ago and it was great,this time it would be tough to recomend. With it being one of the last Maid Rites around it's a roll of the dice.

We love Maid Rites and can't get them at home. While this was definitely a special treat the service was slow and the prices a bit too much for a "loose meat" sandwich. Definitely worth a try if you haven't had one or haven't had one in a long time.

I actually thought I was going to get an Iowa maid-rite, what I got was nothing but ground beef it had absolutely NO flavor to it at all. Maidrite consists of more than just frying up some hamburger. I was not happy with this place at all and would not go back until they learn how to make a sweet juicy maid-rite.

Need to make sure they have a mature person there otherwise food is good.

Haven't had Maid-Rite in years! Still as good as I remember it!!!

My food was served fresh and promptly but my patty melt came on texas toast rather than the anticipated rye bread (prob should have asked but I've never seen a patty melt on NOT rye bread) and the toast was burnt. I've tried this place on several occasions and just can't get it right for me. But the staff is friendly!

Sometimes the food is great sometimes its not.

Super great food..I remember eating at the Maidrite in Grinnell and Marshaltown with my mom as a child .

I love this restaurant! Whenever I come to town, this is a must go to & eat!!!

Best place ever! The staff is nice and they obviously care about you the customer. They get the food out as fast as possible and if there's an issue they'll automatically help (hint: ask for the youngest manager). Everything taste homemade because I think for the most part is and the tenderloins come out different shapes every time. Though customers seem to leave a message a lot :/. The youngest manager is supposedly single too!

Ankeny store--Dirty! New customers were having to sit down at dirty tables! Had to ask the attendant to wipe the table please

If you are not in a big hurry then this is a great place to eat and no one makes a better beef burger.

Best Onion rings!

They get your order done quickly and exactly the way you want it!! The employees there have always been very nice and they keep the restaurant clean!!

Got the tenderloin with onion rings. Tenderloin was not so good. First bite had the piggy taste. Appearance was dark & not the nice white look I prefer. I aborted the 2nd 1/2. I've had really good Tenderloins there in past. But seem like the type of tenderloin often changes..

Finally got experience the loose meat sandwich I’ve heard about. Ordered the original basket and the flavor was good as were the fries. The meat could’ve been hotter or perhaps the bun warmed. The price of $9 for a combo basket seems a bit much. It was fair overall.

I have been going there for years always had great food excellent customer service and the prices were very fair stopped by last Tuesday and I wished I hadn’t poor customer service wasn’t offer any condiments no thank you’s no thanks for coming back and the food was bad fries were cold and you could tell they had been there awhile and the maid rite it self the bun was soggy and I could barely eat that so I got a plate scrapped the meat of the plate and ate it that way and it was like it was missing something not sure what so what used to be a great place to eat isn’t so much be awhile before I go back sorry

Good quiet fast food spot to Getty a quick bite to ready and chat. It's an Iowa spot to eat but I don't get the hype. The food is said to be made fresh and it is supposed full be black Angus beef.

Tenderloin in basket over $12. Ok but overpriced.

The maid rite sandwich and onion rings were excellent but I tried the oreo shake and it was horrible. Clean bathrooms and a clean place to sit and eat. It was my first time and overall enjoyed it but hubby and I couldn't eat more than a bite or two of the shake. Had a horrible rubber/oily after taste. We told a server and she said she was sorry, but nothing beyond that.

The last couple of times we have visited there was so much grease the bun was soggy and couldn't pick up the sandwich. The grease was on the wrapper and through the sack. Over $5 for a regular cheese rite and so much grease couldn't finish. Was never this greasy before. We will not be returning.

First time me and my wife have been to Iowa and we spotted this Maid Rite location beside a Wal Mart. Sandwich is really good and they onion rings were very good as well. It’s a must try!

I remember the flavor of Maid Rite from 60 years ago. Todays does not have that special taste. Seems like just ain't loose meat. Counter person was z bit cranky. So called music way too loud a d unpleasant. Acoustic of the place are like an empty tin can.

This was the first time I had ever been to Maid-Rite, my husband had been when he was younger and wanted to have some since we were close. I will definitely eat here again when we come across one.
